Residents work with Wound Clinic a half a day a week, Graduate Medical Education Residency Programs, Anesthesiology, Behavioral Medicine, Emergency Room, Family Practice/Internal Medicine, Pathology/Lab, Radiology & Wound Clinic, UnityPoint - Allen Memorial Hospital - Waterloo, MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center Dubuque, Cedar Rapids Surgical Center Cedar Rapids, Buchanan County Health Center Independence, The Surgery Center at United Medical Park - Waterloo, Two half days a week Podiatry Clinic (Open Door Policy), Chief Resident Schedules other residents, journal club, didactic topics & gets first opportunity for orthopedic cases, rare foot surgeries & total ankle surgeries, Health, dental & vision available(minimal expenditure), On call every sixth week - tuesday to tuesday, Engaging Didactics with high faculty participation, Residency completion requires a submitted project in publishable format, One month rotation - Three months core rotation for two students. The St.Lukes Podiatry Residency program encourages community service through the active role of our residents in several foot health clinics. Three students who have graduated from an approved podiatric medical school are selected to begin a three-year residency program encompassing podiatric medicine and surgery.
